KANOWIT: A male driver sustained injuries when the Proton Iswara he was driving collided with a four-wheeler at Jalan Pantu Mali today (Sept 23).
According to reports from the Fire and Rescue Department, they received an emergency call at approximately 2:29 pm regarding the incident.
This prompted a response team from the Kanowit fire station to head to the scene.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim trapped inside his vehicle. They implemented the Saver concept, using specialised rescue tools to extricate the victim.
The 50-year-old driver was subsequently transferred to Kanowit Hospital for further medical attention.
