KUCHING: A man sustained injuries in a car accident early this morning when his vehicle overturned along Jalan Stutong.
The incident occurred around 3.02am, prompting an immediate response from the Tabuan Jaya Fire and Rescue Station.
Firefighters confirmed the receipt of the emergency call and detailed the swift deployment of their team to the crash site.
Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a Perodua Bezza involved in the accident with two male occupants. One of the men had managed to free himself from the overturned vehicle, while the other remained trapped inside.
Using specialised equipment, the rescue team extricated the trapped individual. Fortunately, the victim only suffered minor injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital by an ambulance from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM).
Following the successful rescue and ensuring the scene was secure, the fire and rescue team returned to their station
