KUCHING: A local man was left injured after his car skidded out of control and crashed along Jalan Dogan early this morning (May 5).
Firefighters from Tabuan Jaya station were dispatched to the scene, about 10km away, after receiving a distress call at 3.24am.
Upon arrival, they found that the driver was trapped in the Nissan Teana, which had flipped on its side.
Extrication works were carried out to free the 41-year-old victim from the vehicle using rescue tools.
Paramedics provided on-site treatment to the injured victim before transporting him to the hospital for further medical attention. The extent of his injuries was not known.
Once the situation was deemed safe for other road users, the team ended the operation at 3.59am.
