SIBU: A man was pulled out from a 4×4 pick-up by quick-thinking Good Samaritans in a collision with another pickup and a lorry.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call regarding the accident in Jalan Tanjong Manis involving three vehicles, and firefighters from the Tanjung Manis station rushed to the scene.
“The driver of one of the pick-ups was trapped in the seat but was extricated by the public.
“The driver sustained injuries on his right hand and chest, and was later transported to hospital for further treatment,” said Bomba.
The lorry driver, the driver of the other pick-up and and a passenger were unhurt.
