SIBU: A driver sustained minor injuries after the car he was driving, skidded and crashed onto a tree along Jalan Aman here early this morning.
A spokesman from the Civil Defence Force (APM) Sibu said they received a distressed call around 4.30 am and deployed a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, they confirmed the accident and found the vehicle crashed onto a tree by the roadside.
The victim who complained of chest injuries, managed to get out of his car on his own before the team arrived at the scene.
First aid was administered to the victim before he was taken to Sibu Hospital for further treatment.
