KUCHING: After the dreaded haze that comes around annually, Kuchingites thank their lucky stars that it has drifted off. Subsequently, there were bouts of heavy rain and thunderstorm.
Following the adverse weather, an unlucky driver got his car smashed by a falling tree branch at about 1pm at Jalan Kilang yesterday.
The driver was fortunate enough to escape any injuries. However, his windscreen and front parts of the car were damaged. Firemen arrived immediately to the scene to clear the branches off the road.
