KUCHING: A shop selling baby products was robbed by a man and suffered a RM3,000 loss on Monday.
Kuching police chief ACP Awang Din Awang Gani confirmed the incident which happened at 8.20pm at Jalan Setia Raja here.
The complainant, who is a female cashier, said an unknown man armed with a folding knife entered the shop and pointed the knife at her.
The complainant was asked to clear the cash register and put the money inside a box in front of the counter.
After doing so, the suspect then fled the scene on a motorcycle with the box filled with money.
Awang Din said the case is being investigated under Sections 392 and 397 of the Penal Code.
