KUCHING: A man in his 30s escaped unscathed after his Toyota Alphard crashed into a tree along Jalan Central Timur here.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre received an emergency call at 3.44am this morning regarding the accident.
A team of 10 firefighters from the Padungan fire station was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Bomba found that the car had crashed into a tree along the road divider, causing the tree to fall and disrupt traffic flow.
Bomba also reported that the man got out of the car by himself and was unhurt.
Firefighters used a chainsaw to remove the tree that disrupted traffic flow and moved it to the side of the road.
