KUCHING: Police in Sibu have arrested a man from a house in Jalan Ruby for house-breaking and theft.
The suspect, 27, who is jobless, was picked up at noon on Monday and police are on the lookout for his accomplice.
Found inside the house were an assortment of items ranging from office and household goods to things found at construction sites.
There were also cell phones, laptops, CCTV-related gadgets, cables, air pumps, grass cutter, welding cables, marking boards, detergent and even traffic light lamps.
Police believed he had been stealing from offices, residential areas and Pan Borneo Highway project sites around Sibu.
The suspect is under remand to facilitate investigation.
