KOTA SAMARAHAN: The body of a man was found in a bush near a factory in Tanjung Bundong here by members of the public on Monday (Sept 14).
Samarahan District police chief DSP Sudirman Kram said a team was sent to the location following a call regarding the shocking discovery around 12.30pm.
The deceased, 33, from Kampung Tanjung Bundong, worked as a fritters seller and married.
“All personal documents and valuables, including the deceased’s motorcycle, were found at the scene.
“There were no signs to indicate that his death was caused by criminal mischief,” DSP Sudirman disclosed in a statement on Monday.
The deceased was believed to have gone to the location to look for recyclable items such as iron and aluminum for sale.
The body is now at the morgue of Sarawak General Hospital awaiting for the results of a Covid-19 test before a post-mortem is carried out.
