MARUDI: Over 100 staff from various authority departments recently participated in a road safety campaign yesterday.
The campaign, titled “Road Safety And Advocating for Road Users”, was a collaborative effort between the Marudi Police Department, Fire and Rescue Department Marudi (BOMBA), and Marudi Petronas station.
The primary objective of the campaign was to raise awareness among road users about the importance of adhering to road safety rules and regulations. During the campaign, the Petronas station donated goodies to be distributed to road users.
In addition, they distributed pamphlets on road safety and fire safety, not just to road users but also to members of the public, in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
