MIRI: The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced the commencement of the construction of the Marudi bridge over Batang Maram in Miri.
To facilitate the construction work and ensure the safety of road users, the available road will be closed and a detour leading to the ferry will be opened to the public starting this Saturday, March 11.
The PWD has urged drivers to follow safety signboards in the affected area and drive with caution while giving full cooperation throughout the construction period. Any inconveniences caused are deeply regretted.
