KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Aviation Group’s subsidiary, MAB Kargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo) has recently executed a bold move by flying a Malaysia Airlines’ A380 aircraft to London carrying only cargo onboard.
In a statement, MASkargo said flight MH04 departed the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 9.50 am on Tuesday with 26 tonnes of cargo made up of mostly e-commerce goods originating from Guangzhou, China.
MASkargo chief executive officer Ibrahim Mohd Salleh said: “This is definitely an innovative and beyond-the-box approach on our part, as no other Airbus 380 equipped airline that we know, has done this.” – Bernama
