BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming emphasised that Mathematics is an essential tool for developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
He stated that Mathematics is not only a fundamental science but also a key to success in various fields.
“Mathematics drives innovation in information technology, finance, and engineering. In this increasingly complex world, mathematical skills are crucial for facing future challenges,” he said.
Pang made these remarks when officiating at the 38th National Chinese Primary School Gold Cup Mathematics Competition at SJK(C) Sebiew Chinese today.
He also appreciated the efforts of the organisers, staff, teachers, and parents who collaborated to make this competition a success.
“Your dedication and support have helped these young math enthusiasts grow. Without your guidance and support, these children would not have been able to showcase their talents on stage today,” he added.
