KUCHING: An e-hailing app has taken the initiative to enhance the application with the latest technology and adapt it to the 21st Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) Games programmes.

The latest updates to the Maxim E-hailing app enhance the user experience by providing direct access to sports centres and popular pick-up points on its map, along with optimization features and improved support services, ensuring comfortable and timely rides for passengers.

According to Maxim E-Hailing Malaysia’s public relations specialist, Shafiqah Shajari, Maxim maps are updated for automatic correction of typing, meaning users don’t have to worry about not knowing the addresses of popular locations and sports centres, as the optimized system will change it automatically.

“The fast, direct access to locations allows users to wait comfortably without worrying about parking or walking long distances, as more driver-partners have been arranged to work during this period,” she said.

She mentioned that the company has also improved the support service’s efficiency, ensuring faster responses.

Additionally, she noted that Maxim also ensures that items people usually leave in the car are returned to their owners as soon as possible.

“We remind clients that they can retrieve their items directly within a short time. Firstly, go to your trip history, open the chat with the driver, and contact him or her to arrange a meeting point.

“Another way for you to retrieve your items is to open the ‘Menu,’ select ‘Support,’ and share your feedback through it or call user support. The team will assist you in returning the items,” she said.

She added that e-hailing is the most popular mode of transport for visiting SUKMA Sarawak due to its convenience, offering fast and comfortable trips at an affordable price.

Meanwhile, Maxim Kuching head Ericson Bryan stated that the number of bookings increased by more than 30% starting Aug 12 when many athletes began arriving in Kuching.

“We will monitor each booking and note the most visited locations to ensure each booking is completed without any issues.
