KUCHING: Kuching South City Council’s (MBKS) office in Jalan Padungan will be closed until April 18 following two of its employees who have been tested positive for Covid-19.
The management said that the office has been closed effective from April 16 and all staff members have been instructed to work from home as one of the precautionary measures to stop the virus from spreading.
“The council confirms that two employees based at the MBKS office have been tested positive.
“As the safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers are our priority, we have decided to close the office and will comply with further directives from the Ministry of Health (MoH),” it said an announcement today.
The management said that they will operate as usual on Monday, April 19.
