KUCHING: Kuching Zumba® Fiesta 2017 has returned for the third year to brighten up the atmosphere at the Kuching Festival Fair.
Part of the Youth, Culture and Sports programme held by the council to promote a better and healthier lifestyle in the community, the activity is in line with the Healthy City programme advocated by the council all these years.
The Kuching Zumba® Fiesta night will be jointly organised by many active local gyms, zumba studios such as Level Up Fitness, Shake It! Studio, StepUp Fitness Studio, Fit’starzs Dance Crew, Angelsfit Squad, Viva La Vida Fitness Studio, Exhilarate Fitness Studio, Queen Fitness Club and Move Fitness Studio.
Level Up Fitness will be one of the sponsors as well as leading the Zumba dance warm-up.
The event will take place at the state Hockey Stadium on August 18, 2017 starting from 7.30pm.
Lucky draw prizes await the participants.17- year-old singer, Dick Chan from Hong Kong, will be performing two songs for the crowd. Besides being a singer, he is also an actor and host for HKTVB.
His credentials include Children Golden Hits Award, the Best Educational Children Song Award, the Most Popular Parent-Child Song of 2013 and Gold Award for the 5th National Little Golden Bell Music Contest. He is also a member of Composer and Authors Society of Hong Kong.
Organisers of the Kuching Zumba® Fiesta 2017 are now urging those who are interested to fill up the participation form which will be available at MBKS’ Ground Floor’s Security Counter and the participating Zumba® studios as well as downloadable at www.mbks.gov.my.
The completed forms should be submitted to MBKS before Wednesday, August 16, 2017 via fax: 082-421851, email: kchzumba.fiesta@gmail.com or by dropping them at MBKS’s Ground Floor’s Security Counter by 4.00pm. Participation is free of charge.
