MIRI: Miri City Council (MCC) responded to a call for help from residents affected by a fire outbreak which damaged their longhouse at Kampung Pa’Derung Bario last night (Mar 18).
Under the advice of Miri City Mayor Adam Yii, and as part of its corporate social responsibility, MCC has arranged to provide the fire victims daily basic needs during this difficult period.
The council’s contribution in the form of daily provisions and sundry goods was on the way to Bario today (Mar 19) and will be handed over to the victims tomorrow (Mar 20).
