ROSIAH ARBI, 47
Food trader
“We thanked the state government, the city council and PETROS for the installation of the piped gas to Medan Saberkas. As one of the food traders here, it is a huge relief for us, as we could access to a much cheaper gas supply. Prior to the installation, we had to pay RM38 each time to refill the cooking gas tank. Sometimes not even come to one week, we had to top up more than two gas tanks.”
ROSLINA ARBI, 34
Food trader
“The piped gas is more affordable for us traders compared to the cooking gas cylinder. Fortunately, this year the government installed the piped gas supply to Medan Saberkas. Thank you.”
SHAHRI OMAR, 76
Fruit and food trader
“We welcomed the initiative by the government as we have been waiting for a long time since the 1990’s. I hope the initiative is expanded to other market or tamu in future.”
