MIRI: Northern Sarawak Journalist Association (NSJA) will offer its members a medical check-up allowance as part of its efforts to improve the latter’s welfare.
President of NSJA, Andy Jong Wan Joon said that the biennial programme first implemented in 2016 allowed members to claim up to RM100 for medical check-up at a government and private clinic or hospital.
“Members must get their payment receipt and submit it to NSJA for reimbursement,” he told Bernama yesterday.
Meanwhile, Andy revealed NSJA’s plans for this year for its members numbering more than 100, included an annual dinner, educational incentive presentation, family day and Reporter Day.
