MASC (Masculine), a new rookie four boys group managed by LOTUS Entertainment is coming to Malaysia real soon! Before their arrival in Malaysia, the members said that they wish to have a memorable experience with MaBlings. To all the K-pop fans in Malaysia, what are you waiting for? Remember to save your dates for this promo tour (December 22 to 31) as it lasts up to ten days!!
Do you want to give more of an insight about MASC? Such as, who is the most talented among the four of them? There is someone in the group who loves to cook? We managed to do a short Q&A session with the boys.
Q: What do you feel about coming to Malaysia for the promo tour?
Woosoo: Very excited, as we want to give Malaysian fans a good performance.
Ireah: I’m excited to meet the fans but nervous at the same time. I hope a lot of fans will come and support us.
Heejae: As this is my first time going to Malaysia, I’m so glad that we can perform our songs to Malaysia fans.
Moonbong: I’m delighted and excited, but I also feel a little stressed as I want to make the performance the best.
Q: What special performance will you guys prepare for Malaysian fans?
Woosoo: This is the first time the four of us are performing on stage, therefore a lot of particular details needed to be taken care of, but we will be performing MASC-style.
Ireah: In my opinion, there is a diversity in the styles of our music, so we would like to stick to this style.
Heejae: We will perform in a teamwork of four, different fondness and styles.
Moonbong: We had already prepared an exciting, cool and sexier performance.
Q: Are there any fun moments during this preparation process?
Woosoo: I wanted to communicate with Malaysian fans so I made a broadcast, and it’s really fast and I can direct communicate with my fans. It was fun too when the four of us get to live broadcast together.
Ireah: I practiced playing guitar when the other members are singing.
Heejae: Sometimes we will fight when our routine is messy during practice, even our caps will fly away. (laughing)
Moonbong: I’m in charge of the rap section in our songs, so during our practice everyone will laugh. So I think that’s the most memorable one so far.
Q: Malaysia is a tropical country but Korea is currently in winter season. Do you guys prefer winter or summer?
Woosoo: I prefer winter than summer.
Ireah: My body tend to sweat very easily, so I prefer winter more.
Heejae: My body sweat very easily too, and I love snowing so I like winter.
Moonbong: I can’t really stand the uncomfortable feeling when sweating, so I would rather choose winter.
Q: MASC joined Kcon in Japan before, any special K-Pop activities you guys would like to join in the future?
Woosoo: I would like to perform MASC songs in a ballad show.
Ireah: I personally like cooking very much, so I’m thinking of going to cooking shows.
Heejae: I want to join all the variety shows and showcase all of my talents. I wish there are more people that know more about MASC so that we can have more fan meet ups and concerts. But before that, we need to produce a good song first.
Moonbong: I’m very into beauty, so I wish to go on a beauty show.
Q: Can you guys share your personal talent?
Woosoo: I’m very good in playing games, I had never lost to anyone in MASC. Also, I have very sensitive sense of smell and I can play piano very well.
Ireah: I can play piano too.
Heejae: I can imitate voices and I can sing musical theatre songs.
Moonbong: I can finish my make-up in the shortest time and imitate girl group dance moves.
Q: What is MASC’s plan for 2019?
Woosoo: Do a comeback with a nice song.
Ireah: Would like to do a better comeback performance, and also a busy and active schedule.
Heejae: Besides meeting fans in Korea, I hope we can have fan meeting all around the world.
Moonbong: I hope we can have a fan meeting, autograph sessions and concerts in Korea.
Q: Anything you would like to tell Malaysian fans?
Woosoo: Thanks for showering us with all the support and love, we will return the favour to you guys with good performances.
Ireah: Very excited and looking forward to see them. Please give us more support!
Heejae: I would like to visit Malaysia more often after this. Thanks for all the support and love given by Malaysian fans, I love you guys.
