KUCHING: A challenger from Indonesia will compete in TVSTARS on Tuesday (Apr 6) at 8.30pm.
“He is none other than Andrey Arifianto who has vast experience in competing in various singing competitions in Indonesia,” said TVS in a statement today.
“Andrey was born in Atambua, East Nusa Tenggara and the singer has an affinity for singing songs by Malaysia’s singing sweetheart Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. He has a sizable number of followers on social media.
“Andrey’s cover videos of him performing songs by Siti have received millions of views on YouTube. His rendition of Siti’s songs such as Purnama Merindu has garnered 2.5 million views, while Nirmala has garnered 2.3 million views and Wajah Kekasih 2.5 million views.
“Will Andrey triumph over all six other Dream Team contestants of TVSTARS and eventually become the champion for TVS’ first ever reality show?” it asked.
