BINTANGOR: Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing has allocated RM200,000 for the implementation of the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project in his area.

Ding expressed gratitude to the Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID) of Sarikei Division for their consistent commitment in implementing the RTP project, ensuring its completion according to the proposed schedule.

“Not only that, the Sarawak government, under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, has proven its commitment to development, especially in rural and inland areas.

“This is because the state government continues the RTP Project initiative to drive development in the state.”

Ding made these remarks while witnessing the brief ceremony for handing over the two project sites at the Sungai Dabai Bridge, held yesterday.
