KUCHING: The Metalhead Bikers of Kuching, will be holding a Gathering Gig for its members and followers of the Metal Scene at Nightlife Music Lounge, Taman Westwood, Jalan Tabuan here on Saturday, 3 November starting from 1.00pm.
This year’s gathering will be featuring local bands and a band from West Malaysia. The theme for this year is ‘The Awakening of The Sarawak Metal Gods and A Tribute to the late 1980s and 1990s Sarawak Underground Metal Scene’ and will be featuring some big bands namely The Senseless, The Vomit, The Ungodly Death, The Kherow, The Mistik and more. During the last gathering held here, the VP of Metalhead Bikers Kuching, Mohamed Tarmizi also known as Zizie Row said that the event is being organised to bring back and reunite members of the Sarawak Underground Metal Scene where in the 80s and 90s they spent time jamming at Kuching Plaza.
“The gig also will play a role in bonding friendship among Metalhead bikers fans from different backgrounds and groups,” said its founder, Mr Lobong from Lobong Custom.
