LUNDU: A house fire broke out in Kampung Opek, Lundu, resulting in the complete destruction of a temporary residence.
According to the state Fire and Rescue Department, after receiving an emergency call at 12.11am today (July 15), a team of firefighters was promptly despatched to the scene.
Upon arriving, they found that the house was engulfed in flames, and by the time the fire was brought under control, it had been completely razed.
However, no casualties were reported as a result of the fire. The absence of occupants in the temporary structure spared any potential injuries or loss of life.
Alongside the firefighters, personnel from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) were present at the scene to assist in managing the incident.
