KUCHING: The traffic light junction at Mile 10 will be temporarily closed from Sept 1 until Dec 15 in order to reconstruct the pavement for the Pan Borneo Highway Project.
Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) issued a road closure notice on Monday (Aug 23).
“The turning route from Kuching/Mile 9 into Kota Padawan and the turning route from Kota Padawan to Serian will be temporarily closed.
“Please make a U-turn at traffic light junction (Mile 8 or Mile 11),” it said in its statement.
JKR reminded all road users to use the alternative routes provided according to the directional signboards installed.
“Any inconvenience caused is regretted. Your continuous cooperation is highly appreciated.
