MIRI: Military deployment to help the police in enforcing the movement control order (MCO) becomes a necessity when the public do not fully comply with the government guidelines, said Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

“Sending in the army is the last resort because there is no other choice left,” he said.

He added that the public have been given the opportunity to comply with the government instruction.

Both federal and state governments are very concerned about the spread of Covid 19.

“The public should discard the ‘don’t care attitude”, he said.

For Baram constituents, Dennis has urged them to follow the government guidelines and stand united in combating the spread of the virus.

“Put aside our political differences and rally together to combat this disease,” he said.
