SONG: Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi lauded the efforts and measures taken by government agencies in working together to curb the spread of Covid-19.

He said the standard operating procedures (SOPs) guidelines set by the government should be complied with and non-compliance would result in endangering the lives of family members and the local community, especially here.

He said this at the closing of the Sepakat@Komuniti Programme, Cultivating New Norms: Break the Covid-19 Chain at Rumah Kanyan Banta, Ulu Lajan Song here, on Saturday (Oct 17).

The programme organised by the Song District Information Department aims to provide awareness to the public to continue working together with the government, especially health workers and law enforcement officers to break the Covid-19 chain.

Apart from that, Nanta said it also serves to create strategic cooperation between ministries, departments, agencies, corporate sectors and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in conveying the message of cultivating new norms consistently and continuously among the community.
