SERIAN: Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa today (Oct 23) paid a working visit to the Tebedu Community Internet Centre and officiated at the Malaysian Family Youth Package (Pakej Remaja Keluarga Malaysia) for students studying at various universities and educational institutions.
“The Malaysian Family Youth Package is a new prepaid package to help teenagers and students acquire internet access from home.
“The package focuses primarily on online learning with no data constraints in the hope of boosting productivity among school students,” explained Annuar during his visit to the internet centre.
While there, he was also briefed on the operation of the internet centre by its manager Vee Felly Malek and witnessed the sale of handicraft products and various cakes made by local entrepreneurs.
Also present during the visit were the Prime Minister’s Special Ambassador to Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Taiwan Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem; Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission chairman, Dr Fadhlullah Suhaimi Abdul Malek; Samarahan Resident, Tuah Suni and Tebedu District Officer Joseph Liaw.
