KUCHING: The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports will be working together with all parties to improve sports in Sarawak.
According to Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Snowdan Lawan, Sarawak was once a sports powerhouse in the nation and it should recover its past glory.
“We will do our best together with the relevant parties to help develop the sports and athletes in the state.” said Snowdan in his speech when attending the 5th Sarawak-Japan Friendship Judo Training Camp held at Chung Hua No. 1 school here yesterday.
Snowdan added that his ministry would get input and feedback from all sides involved in order to improve the state’s athletes.
“If we want to be a sports powerhouse again, we must improve,” he said.
Also present was Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tan Kai.
