KUCHING: The State Labour Department advised those seeking employment or better jobs that there are more than 20 employers offering over 1,000 job vacancies during the Miri Career Carnival Programme 2018. The programme will be held on Saturday, 21 April 2018 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at Permy Mall, Miri.
Among the activities that will take place are open interviews, online job search registration via the JobsMalaysia portal, labour advisory services, exhibitions by agencies under the Ministry of Human Resources and the exhibition and sales of Jem Nanas Bario Community Project and 1Malaysia Support For Housewives (1MS4HW ), Sarawak Rural Women, Miri (WADESA).
The objective of this programme is to facilitate job seekers to get job opportunities and employers get appropriate candidates in one place during the programme.
Employers will have an open interview during the programme for potential candidates to fill vacancies offered by the employer company. Job seekers are advised to dress neatly and bring along their resumes and copies of the relevant certificates during the interview.
The programme is the fifth organised by the Sarawak Labour Department, a department under the Ministry of Human Resources, for the year.
