MIRI: Miri City Council (MCC) launched an operation to ensure the cleanliness around Old Man Street and Taman Bunga here yesterday.
The two-hour operation kicked off at 9 am, comprising the council’s enforcement team, police and Welfare Department officers.
Their main focus was to ensure that the pavements within these two areas are safe for the public.
The team were also clearing up personal items left by the homeless in the areas.
