KUCHING: Appointments made at Miri Hospital’s specialist clinic will be postponed effective Jan 18 to 22.
Miri Hospital said affected patients, including those whose appointments cannot be delayed, would be contacted.
“The management of Miri Hospital requests the cooperation and concern of all patients to provide space for the hospital to address the current situation.
“The hospital hopes that with this decision, more focus can be placed on the management of the Covid-19 situation,” it said today.
It also added while inpatient services will still operate as usual.
“Miri Hospital is committed to protecting this facility and appeals to all parties to mobilise efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19,” it said.
It also advised those visiting the hospital to follow the management’s guidelines that has been issued.
