MIRI: The Rotary Club of Bintulu Central (RCBC), in collaboration with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS Charities), has successfully completed the 4th Sequel of Hope Delivery project.

This initiative has facilitated the donation of essential medical equipment and appliances to Miri Hospital, with a combined value of RM382,446.

The comprehensive donation aims to elevate the quality of care provided to patients in need, thereby augmenting the hospital’s capacity to meet the growing healthcare demands of the region.

The handover ceremony took place on Tuesday (May 14) at Miri Hospital. Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong received the contributions on behalf of the institution.

Representing LDS Charities was Elder Larry Hathaway, who expressed his organisation’s commitment to supporting local communities and enhancing healthcare services.

The ceremony was also witnessed by Rotary Club of Bintulu Central president Allen Wong Ching Seng, who highlighted the importance of such collaborations in fostering community wellbeing and resilience.
