MIRI: The management of Miri Hospital hast reminded road users, including drivers of cars and heavy vehicles, motorcyclists, and pedestrians, to exercise extra caution while navigating the hospital area.

This reminder aims to promote safe driving practices and ensure the safety of everyone within the facility.

“The public should slow down and drive carefully due to the narrow and curved roads with cross sections around the hospital.

“The management stresses the importance of this caution, as it impacts the safe transportation of patients between Block A and Block B, as well as the movement of hospital staff who escort patients or perform other official duties.

“Pedestrians are also reminded to stay aware of the current traffic situation and only cross the road when it is safe to do so,” the hospital said in a statement.

The hospital also highlighted the potential dangers of using telecommunication devices, such as mobile phones, while on the road, as this can lead to accidents and compromise the safety of other road users.
