MIRI: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) government will distribute 500 fire extinguishers to longhouses and villages here.
Miri Member of Parliament (PKR) Dr Michael Teo Yu Keng told reporters here yesterday that the distribution is a programme under the Federal Housing and Local Government Ministry.
Earlier, he launched a ‘Free Pap Smear Programme’ organised by Persatuan Kebajikan Sinar Prihatin Miri, a local non-govermental organisation.
More than 100 women took advantage of the free medical check-up conducted at Dr Teo’s own clinic. – Bernama
