MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri branch recently organised an Information Literacy Programme for two organisations in Lawas.
Its main objective was to raise awareness on the importance of acknowledging and learning the skills in acquiring knowledge and use of media.
The programme involved Lawas District Council and the Malaysia Islamic Training Insitute (ILIM) Lawas Campus.
During the programme, the participants were introduced to the many services provided by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak including online databases that can be remotely accessed such as e-newspapers, e-magazines, e-books etc.
