DARO: A man who did not return home from a crab hunting trip alone at Daro river last Friday, was found safe and sound today.

Johari Yusup, 30, was reported missing when he failed to return from the hunting trip on Friday night. He left the house early in the morning.

Daro fire station was alerted of the incident at 12.35am and despite it was after midnight, the station still despatched their men immediately to begin initial search along the river but to no avail.

The search operation was later continued in daylight and at 12.40pm, operations commander PBK II Mustapha Wasli informed that Johari was found unharmed about 500 metres from the area where he was said to be missing.

The man was then handed over to paramedics for a medical health check-up.
