KUCHING: Seventy-eight-year-old Rami Jeti from Rumah Bair, Bandar Semarakan in Tatau, Bintulu who was reported missing has been found.
She was found safe but week due to minor injuries sustained.
She was found by the search and rescue (SAR) teams at about 11am yesterday, four days after she was reported missing last Friday.
The SAR teams, which were divided into two groups, were combing the areas within 400m radius of her longhouse, when they stumbled upon her.
Thirteen firefighters from the Tatau fire station led by its chief Jankey Jingkat, Police K9 Unit (nine personnel), civil defence department (four personnel), health department (three personnel), members of public (40 persons) were involved in the SAR.
Rescuers immediately brought her home on a stretcher before sending her to the nearest health clinic for further medical check-up and to nurse her injuries.
