MIRI: An elderly man, aged 60, who was reported missing on Thursday morning was found unharmed on Friday evening by several plantation workers nearby a longhouse in Sungai Telong, Suai Niah.

According to Batu Niah Fire and Rescue station chief Rary Binjie, the man Rubat Jerie Naning, was found by the workers at 3.06pm in a weak condition but unharmed, at about 2km from a location he was reported missing on Thursday.

On Thursday, firemen from Batu Niah fire station around 1.35pm had gone to the location for the Search and Rescue (SAR) operation after being informed on the incident at 12.47pm.

However, during the SAR on Friday, they were told that the victim had been found safely and the operation was called off at 4pm.
