BAU: An elderly man, reported missing on Sept 9, was found by villagers on Monday (Sept 14).
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the remains of Kuan Joon Ted, 77, was found by villagers within a 600-metre radius from his house at around 10.06am. The body has been handed over to the police for further action.
The late Kuan was found on the third day of the search and rescue (SAR) operations that began around 8.45am.
On Sept 9 (Wednesday), the senior citizen went missing at Pekan Tondong here after failing to return home at Jalan Selalang.
He was often seen walking around the Pan Borneo route from Selalang to Tondong.
