KAPIT: A group of six vocational trainees at Giatmara here went on a picnic trip along Sungai Aman near here on Monday afternoon.
However, at the end of the picnic trip, four returned while another two were missing.
The four reported the case to their instructor who subsequently lodged a police report at 7pm on Monday.
The police along with personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) and Civil Defence Force went to the site to begin a search and rescue operation for the missing youth aged 20 and 21 years old.
One youth was found by their friends while other youth was found by the rescue team at 8.21pm.
The duo did not suffer any injury. According to them, they were wandering along the river and in nearby jungle.
“We lost our direction because it became dark quickly,” they said.
