SHAH ALAM: The International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) has lauded Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng’s comments on Monday that there would be no new tax measures in the upcoming 2020 Budget.
Its minister, Datuk Darell Leiking said when there are no new tax measures it’s good for industries, which can then focus on being their best.
“(However) let’s get into the details of what Lim meant and hope for better news once the budget is tabled,” he told reporters at the Miti Minister’s Monthly Assembly at SIRIM Bhd, here yesterday. – Bernama
