MIRI: Members of the public approached Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin and his team seeking advice on Kenyalang Gold Card applications, medical assistance, and welfare assistance programmes during the Mobile Service 2U programme on Sunday.
The Senadin Constituency Service Centre’s Mobile Service 2U team, led by Lee who is also Minister for Transport, was conducting a walkabout cum meet-the-people session at the food court and coffee shops at the By-Pass New Bus Central Station here.
This session is part of the centre’s weekly ‘Mobile Service 2U’ programme.
The team, comprised members from the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Senadin Branch Committee and Youth members including councillors Jeffery Phang, Kueh Chie Tiong, and Kapitan Chong Kee Fah, was on hand to assist the public.
During the event, the team distributed information on the Kenyalang Gold Card application to interested members of the public.
Additionally, they handed out emergency contact cards and other informational materials, which were well received by the patrons at the coffee shops and food court.
