BINTULU: The Tanjong Batu State Constituency Service Center will be holding a mobile service counter at the Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu from October 5 to 6 starting 10 am to 5 pm.
Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming stated that the mobile counter aims to facilitate public access to information and applications for various aid programmes provided by the Sarawak government.
According to him, the mobile service counter is one of the main activities carried out by the service centre.
“This mobile service counter not only simplifies the application process but also serves as a platform for the public to report local issues.
“Through this approach, we can communicate more effectively with the people and work together to resolve the issues they face,” he said during a press conference at the Tanjong Batu State Constituency Service Center today (Oct 3).
Throughout the two-day event, two officers from the Sarawak Welfare Department and six officers from the Miri Welfare Department will be present to assist the public with Kenyalang Gold Card registrations and applications for senior citizen health welfare assistance.
Pang hopes that the public will take this opportunity to provide feedback and constructive opinions regarding the issues faced by the community.
“We are committed to relaying these complaints and concerns to the relevant departments for follow-up actions and solutions.
“With the implementation of this mobile service counter, it is hoped to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people and improve the well-being of the local community,” he said.
