MIRI: The DUN Senadin Centre Mobile Service 2U team has pledged to address residents’ concerns, particularly the need for road upgrades, repairs, and fixing malfunctioning street lights.
The team assured the public that these issues would be raised with the relevant agencies for prompt actions.
During a meet-the-people session yesterday, the team engaged with the public and stall owners, gathering feedback on various issues.
Residents approached the councillors to discuss their concerns, which the councillors promised to bring to the attention of the Miri City Council.
The session was led by Cr Jeffery Phang on behalf of Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin.
The event took place at Wang Zai Dim Sum 2, located near the new Miri Bus Terminal at the main junction of Jalan Cahaya and Miri By-Pass.
The session was part of the weekly “Mobile Service2U” programme.
The team included councillors, Kapitan, youth, and women leaders from Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Senadin, such as Cr Kueh Chie Tiong, Cr Yap Siew Jin, Kapitan Chai Kuen Ming, Kapitan Jee Kee Hiong, and Kapitan Chong Khee Fah.
The mobile service plays a vital role in community service and provides an excellent platform for gathering feedback on services provided by local authorities and government agencies.
