PUTRAJAYA: A discussion between the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Australian High Commission in Malaysia on English language module for pre-schools is still ongoing.
MoE in a statement said there has been no final decision made thus far.
It said the ministry would continue to strive to improve the English proficiency of students at all levels including those at pre-schools.
This was in line with the goals and targets outlined in the Malaysian Education Blueprint (PPPM) 2013-2025 and the English Language Roadmap 2015-2025, the statement said.
Yesterday a local English daily in a report entitled “English Help from Australia” revealed that Malaysia currently in the pipeline to introduce a pilot project involving pre-schools based on Australian online modules. – Bernama
