While wearing face masks is no longer mandatory in public transportation, it is strongly encouraged based on individual risk assessment, according to the Health Ministry (MOH).

This came following the latest implementation of revised guidelines on face mask usage, effective from July 5.

Furthermore, individuals, including visitors, patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff, are required to wear face masks within healthcare facilities.

However, exceptions to face mask usage within healthcare facilities may be granted in outdoor areas and in locations where there is no direct interaction with patients, such as parking spaces.
