MIRI: Fire early this morning in Kampung Dagang here rendered 10 people homeless as it razed three houses to the ground.
Thankfully, no injuries or casualties have been reported.
Batu Niah Fire and Rescue department chief Rary Binjie, said that they received an emergency call at 2.31 am. A team from the fire station swiftly responded and was assisted by the Miri fire station team.
“The fire also destroyed a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle,” he said.
The operation concluded by 6.30 am. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
