MIRI: Six people were left homeless this morning (Sept 25) after their house at Lorong Meranti 2, Kampung Abdul Rahman Lambir here, was destroyed by fire.
The Miri Fire and Rescue Department reported that it was alerted to the incident at 7.16 am.
A team from the Lopeng Fire Station quickly responded to the scene.
It took the firemen about 20 minutes to contain the fire, which was fully under control by 7.50 am.
Thankfully, no lives were lost. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
